Paging All Readers!

If any of you are looking for a good read but don't know where to start you've come to the right place!

From personal experience and a bit of research, I've compiled a list of five great books to check out for both the light and frequent reader!

Topping off our list is John Green's The Fault In Our Stars The Fault In Our Stars follows the life of sixteen-year-old cancer patient Hazel, and if you're not afraid to shed a tear or two then it's definitely the book for you.

Coming in at second is  J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit which has had quite the popularity increase since the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which is part one of three films based off of the book. Whether you saw the film or not, if you like fantasy then The Hobbit is a must-read.

If you have an interest in science-fiction then number three on our list is definitely worth a read. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is full of laughs, adventure, and excitement; so if you plan on taking a trip across the galaxy then The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy should definitely be in your carry-on!

You may have heard of a movie called The Perks of Being a Wallflower (starring Harry Potter's Emma Watson and Percy Jackson's Logan Lerman) but in case you weren't aware it's based off of a book by the same name that, like the movie, follows the high school experiences of teenage Charlie. It's a great coming of age story with great reviews and it's definitely worth a read.

Finishing off this list of literature is City of Bones (now a popular film), book one of the ongoing Mortal Instruments series. Written by Cassandra Clare, this book tells of the adventures of Clary Fray, a young girl who just so happens to be able to see things other humans cannot
—namely demons and those who hunt them. It's a great urban-fantasy story and has been compared to what is perhaps one of the greatest series of all time—Harry Potter.
