We are currently reading Julius Caesar in my english class, it's written by the great poet William Shakespeare. I'm going to give you a brief summary of his life and why he wrote the book. William Shakespeare wrote 154 sonnets he was born on April 23, 1564 and died April 23, 1616. Know one knows exactly how he died, some say it was an overdose of him drinking to much alcohol, others might say he had a disease. His birthplace is stratford-upon-Avon, he had seven siblings, his parents were John and Mary Shakespeare. William Shakespeare also had a wife name Anne Hathaway, he was only 18 when he got married to her and she was 26. Now the reason for him writing the book Julius Caesar is simply because it reflects the fears of the people in England that there was no successor to the throne.
