Early Voting

If you are eligible to vote, those who don’t want to risk long lines on Nov. 4 during the General Election now have eight days to cast their ballots during early voting. That can be done at the county Board of Elections office in Lumberton or at two satellite sites, in Fairmont and Pembroke. Early voting at the Robeson County Board of Elections will be from 8:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, Oct. 29 and Oct. 30. On Monday, Tuesday, and Oct. 31, the hours will be from 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. On Nov. 1, which is a Saturday, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Early voting hours at the Fairmont senior citizen center and Pembroke Library will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. On Oct. 30 and 31, the locations will be open for voting from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 1, the satellite sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
