Forty of the 42 schools in the Public Schools of Robeson County received a C or lower for their first School Performance Grade released by the state Department of Public Instruction on Thursday.The Early College High School received an A, and Tanglewood Elementary School received a B.According to a statement issued by the state Department of Public Instruction, 65.4 percent of North Carolina’s elementary and middle schools earned a grade of C or better. For high schools, whose scores include additional indicators of career and college readiness, 88 percent earned a grade C or better.
