2 American tourists caught carving names into Rome's Colosseum

The two American tourists were caught carving their names into Rome's Coliseum and Nike they are ordered to appear in Italy's court. The duo snuck away from their tourist group and began to scratch their names on the side of the coliseum with coins. Police caught them and upon their arrest they found that the women took pictures with their initials "J" and "N". The women stick to their defense of saying they didn't know it was such a serious issue.
