Bruce Jenner: Transgender

     Former Olympian Bruce Jenner has recently come out with his new identity as a transdender. He is known for being the wife to Kris Jenner and father to Kylie and Kendall Jenner. America knows him the most from his family's reality television show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. 

     Last month Jenner appeared on Diane Sawyer and announced that the rumors of him being transgender were indeed true. He said he had been taking female hormones for five years in the 80's but stopped upon meeting his wife, Kris. Now that he has come out he plans on starting his full transition soon.

     He has left it up to his family and children as to what they will call him. Most call him "Bruce" or "Dad"despite him having a woman's stage name that the media does not yet know. His family is 100% supportive of his decisions and are public about it. 

     Bruce commented that his entire life wanting to be a woman was always something in his heart. He identifies himself as a complete heterosexual however because he has never been with a man. He also stated that he does not know if he will be with a man upon completing his full transformation. 

     Jenner is completely open with what is going on and is able to do so by his non-stop support system from his children and step-children as well. He has ignored the media and put himself first. Further details and coverage on Bruce's transformation will be released later.
