Don’t wait to see your name in the newspaper before paying all of your 2014 property taxes.
That’s advice from Cindy Lowry, tax administrator for Robeson County, who said Wednesday that county property owners not paid up in full within 30 days of receiving a delinquency notice will find their names listed in the newspaper. There are some special circumstances that might keep a taxpayer’s name off the list, according to Lowry, but her advice is don’t count on it. Those cases are rare, she said.
